About Ruskell Outdoor Services

Ruskell Outdoor Services has proudly served the residents of Southeast Minnesota for over 17 years. Owner, Greg Ruskell, grew up in the green industry, and he and his brothers spent many years as kids mowing in the summers and moving snow in the winters. Today, Ruskell Outdoor Services provides much more than just lawn care and snow removal. Ruskell Outdoor Services offers high quality, comprehensive outdoor services as well as landscaping, all over Southeast MN including Rochester, Chatfield, Lanesboro, Preston, and beyond.

As a family-owned company, we take great pride in our work and emphasize strong client relationships. Not only do we offer a wide range of landscaping and practical outdoor services, we provide our clients with unparalleled customer service, maintaining strong communication every step of the way.

Greg Ruskell, owner of Ruskell Outdoor Services, studied horticulture and landscape design at the University of Wisconsin—River Falls. He continued to apply his talents and expertise in outdoor design and installation by moving to the Twin Cities. In 2007, Greg and his family moved back to Chatfield. Since then, they’ve provided functional landscape options and reliable outdoor services to communities across Southeast Minnesota.

Our comprehensive outdoor services are offered year-round to keep your home looking its best no matter the season. Ruskell Outdoor Services offers traditional lawn care services and winter services in addition to our more specialized landscape design installation, and maintenance services.

We’re also excited to offer quality landscape material for clients that want to do it themselves. We offer decorative rock, mulch, black dirt and more at our site on highway 52 in Chatfield, MN.
